Laboratory extraction arms

Laboratory arms are ideal for localized extraction at workstations where high mobility is required, such as in chemical laboratories, universities, schools, and chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.

The Secureair® range of laboratory arms consists of the following models:

LAB STD (standard)

Suitable for the evacuation of most airborne pollutants in laboratories, schools, hospitals, pharmaceutical plants, hair salons, and light industrial applications.

LAB STD features polypropylene (PP) joints and anodized aluminum tubes.

LAB PP

Mainly used for the evacuation of highly corrosive airborne pollutants at high concentrations, such as in some laboratories and in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

LAB PP features polypropylene joints and tubes. All metal parts in contact with the air flow are made of stainless steel.

The ceiling connection for PP is available with a special internal epoxy coating to offer greater resistance to corrosion.

LAB ESD

Suitable for the evacuation of airborne pollutants in environments where the risk of spark formation must be avoided and where products can only be used if they are ESD certified, for example in the electronics industry.

The joints and pipes in conductive polypropylene (Ø75) or aluminum (Ø50) with grounding cable make the entire suction arm electrically conductive.

LAB ESD is approved in accordance with EN 61340-5-1.

LAB ATEX

Suitable for the evacuation of airborne pollutants

in ATEX-classified environments, for example laboratories, chemical and petrochemical industry, gas distribution, paint production, and pharmaceutical industry.

Joints and tubes in conductive polypropylene. All metal parts in contact with the air flow are made of stainless steel. All load-bearing metal parts are coated with special conductive paint. The product complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU Category 2 for gases and dusts.

All LABs are available in sizes Ø50/75/100 mm in lengths between 650 and 2,650 mm, with standard ceiling/wall/bench connections; the ceiling connections also act as suction ducts. LAB meets a wide range of needs, both in terms of use and installation.

Extension kits and cover plates are available for clean and functional installations, as well as a wide range of hoods and extraction terminals.
